Ruggles Mine

Ruggles Mine was sold to Joe Bodge in July of 2023. We officially opened to the public on June 21, 2024. Currently open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for the 2024 season. We are scheduling group trips to Ruggles Mine for EFMLS-affiliated Gem and Mineral Clubs throughout New England and beyond. School and Scouting groups interested in visiting can contact us to schedule and outing as well. Folks have already inquired about holding weddings and corporate events at the top of Isinglass mountain at Ruggles Mine as well. Please CONTACT US.

Mineral clubs are offered expanded access to much more of the Ruggles Mine property.  EFMLS-Affiliated Mineral Clubs on scheduled private trips to Ruggles Mine are permitted to use hand rock impact tools (hammers, chisels, etc). Mineral Clubs hold additional liability insurance, and train their members in proper safety and operation of such equipment. Therefore, club membership has it's privileges. Visit Ruggles Mine to get a taste of how fun the hobby is. Join a club and come back for more!
